Premier Giorgia Meloni and Hungarian
Prime Minister Viktor Orban voiced support for a just peace in
Ukraine after talks in Rome Wednesday.
The two leaders "confide in continuing to strengthen political
dialogue and coordinate with each other on the main
international issues," said a joint statement after the talks at
Palazzo Chigi.
"In particular, they discussed the situation in the Middle East,
their support for a just and lasting peace in Ukraine based on
the principles of the United Nations Charter and international
law, and their commitment to reconstruction in view of the next
Ukraine Recovery Conference to be hosted by Italy in July 2025".
